I have been doing some small scale freelance copywriting and translation since 2002. However, this is the first time that I’m doing it on a a more organised platform. To get started, I NEED A NAME for the website. Despite squeezing my brain for any juices, I have yet to come up with any brillant name for the site.

It took me quite a while but at last, we decided on the name Word Concepts, mainly because the word ‘conCEPTs’ encompasses the services that we provide (copywriting, editing, proofreading and translation).

However, Word Concepts was already registered, so we decided to change it to 字 Concepts instead, which is good, as our forte is in translation anyway and it also serves to remind clients that we provide bilingual services.
