We provide professional services in Copywriting, Editing, Proof-reading and Translation services in the English and Chinese language for your communication or business needs by form of surveys, advertisements, letters, business materials, brochures, catalogues, website and others.

We provide copywriting based on clients’ requirements and materials. Revisions of the text are included till approval given by clients.

We provide different levels of translation quality such as the below, subject to clients’ request.

• Translation
• Adaptation of original text

Translation implies that the translated text is grammatical, fluent and idiomatic. The translation should be assimilated completely to the cultural context of the target language.  This would be most commonly used in collaterals and surveys.

Adaptation of original text does not just directly translate the original text but also includes some copywriting and editing according to what the translator deems appropriate. The resultant text need not correspond sentence by sentence to the originals but is expected to be fluent and conveys the same meaning as the original.

Proof-reading and editing could be a separate service but is also included for copywriting and translation. It includes correcting of grammar and spelling, and rewriting of sentences where necessary to improve expression or fluency.

Charges:

As the rate of our services would vary due to the length of complexity of subject matter, degree of professional knowledge, project size and urgency, we would be happy to provide a quotation / estimate of the fee after looking at the source document.

As a gauge, translation may be charged at $0.10 to $0.30 per word (translated copy). Copywriting is at $30-50 an hour. Editing and proof-reading at $10 per page.

Rates are subject to change depending on above factors, however, once a quote is given and accepted by client, the rate will not change. Additional changes and editing may incur further charges depending on the complexity of correction.
